AirAsia Thailand is expanding its network of services between India and Thailand with new routes from Bangkok to Hyderabad and Phuket and Chennai.
AirAsia Thailand is expanding its network of services between India and Thailand with new routes from Bangkok to Hyderabad and Phuket and Chennai.
The new routes will start in October with the first between Bangkok and Hyderabad on October 27, followed by Phuket to Chennai on October 30. Services on the Bangkok-Hyderabad route will operate four times weekly, while the Phuket-Chennai will operate three times weekly.
With the addition of the two routes, AirAsia Thailand will offer flights on 14 routes between India and Thailand.
“We have seen overwhelming response from our Indian guests, looking to explore international destinations as well as visitors from those countries coming to Thailand. Having restored our capacity close to our pre-pandemic levels, AirAsia Thailand is well-positioned to cater to the increasing demand” said Tansita Akrarit, Head of Commercial, AirAsia Thailand.
AirAsia Thailand currently operates flights on 12 routes from Bangkok to India - Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi, Bangalore, Gaya, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam,Tiruchirappalli, Hyderabad. From Phuket, the airline operates flights to Kolkata.
